Volkswagen and the GAZ Group today signed an agreement to assemble Volkswagen and Škoda models under contract at the GAZ plant in Nizhny Novgorod. The companies already concluded a memorandum of understanding regarding joint automobile production in Russia in February 2011. The planned production volume is 110,000 vehicles per year. The agreement runs until 2019.

On May, 18th in Saint-Petersburg the legendary football clubs Zenit (Saint-Petersburg) and FC Bayern (Munich) will meet. The friendly match, organized by Volkswagen Group Rus, will initiate the cooperation of Audi Russia with the distinguished club of Saint-Petersburg. On the threshold of the match Audi Russia and Zenit signed a partnership agreement.
